Skybound Tycoon: Getting Out of the Mid-Game Slump
Most Skybound Tycoon players hit a wall around their third sky-harbour where income flatlines. It's almost always the same two mistakes.
First, you're probably over-hiring. Staff costs eat margins fast, and an overstaffed harbour bleeds money during quiet periods. Match staffing to passenger flow, not to building size.
Second, check your routes. Long routes look profitable per trip but tie up capacity. A couple of short, frequent routes usually out-earn one glamorous long-haul in the mid-game.
Upgrade lounges before you expand. Happy passengers spend more and complain less, and a maxed lounge pays for itself faster than a whole new harbour.
Sort those out and the slump lifts, usually within a few in-game days.
