Nitro District nails the thing a lot of mobile racers miss: it feels fast. The tracks wind through neon city blocks, and the drift system is forgiving enough to learn in a few races but deep enough to shave real time off your laps.
Car progression is sensible. You unlock new rides by winning, tune them with parts you earn, and each class handles distinctly. The tilt controls worked fine for me, though I switched to on-screen buttons for the tighter courses.
The soundtrack is a bit repetitive and the menus could be snappier, but once a race starts none of that matters.
