Emberfall Saga: The Party Build I Wish I'd Started With
My first Emberfall Saga run was a mess. I dumped everything into one damage dealer and got wrecked by the third boss. On my second go I spread the love, and the game opened right up.
The trick is covering roles early: one reliable tank, one healer who can also buff, and two flexible damage characters with different elements. That element split matters because so many fights punish you for having only one type.
Don't over-invest in any single skill tree before chapter three. The game throws respec items at you around then, and you'll want the flexibility once enemy resistances start mixing up.
For the healer, prioritise the group-heal node over single-target early. The waves of small enemies do chip damage that adds up, and keeping everyone topped off beats scrambling.
Play it this way and the mid-game stops feeling like a grind and starts feeling like a puzzle you're clearly winning.
