Nitro District: Learning to Drift Without Hating It
Nitro District's drifting looks intimidating but it's mostly about timing one input. New players tend to tap brake and steer at the same time, which spins you out. Don't.
Instead, lift off the accelerator just before the corner, tip into the turn, then feather the throttle to hold the slide. The car wants to help you; you just have to let it settle.
Build your boost through drifts and spend it on the straights, never mid-corner. I lost a dozen races before that clicked. Boosting into a turn is how you kiss a wall.
On the controls question: tilt is fine for the wide tracks, but switch to buttons the moment courses get twisty. There's no shame in it and your lap times will thank you.
Give it five or six races before deciding the handling is bad. It isn't, it just has a learning curve that pays off.
