About

Pocket Playbook started as a group chat where four friends kept sending each other screenshots of levels we couldn't beat. At some point we figured we might as well write things down properly, and the site grew out of that. Everything you read here comes from hands-on play, not press kits.,We pick games across every genre we can stomach: RPGs, racers, puzzlers, slow-burn strategy, the lot. A game makes the catalogue only after someone on the team has spent real hours with it, usually enough to finish the main content or hit a natural stopping point.,Our guides try to be the thing we wish existed when we were stuck at 2am. That means step-by-step walkthroughs, honest notes on what dragged, and the occasional warning when a game stops being fun. We update pieces when games get big patches.,Nobody pays us to like their game. We cover what we're genuinely curious about, and if something disappoints us we say so plainly.
