Emberfall Saga

Emberfall Saga is the rare mobile RPG that respects your attention. You build a party of four, each with their own skill trees, and the turn-based combat rewards planning over reflexes. I spent a good hour just experimenting with elemental combos before the plot even got going.

The writing is better than it has any right to be. Side characters have arcs, choices nudge the story in small ways, and the voice acting on key scenes is genuinely decent. Grinding exists but never feels mandatory if you play the battles smart.

My only gripe is the inventory screen, which gets cluttered fast. Otherwise this is an easy recommendation for anyone who misses proper handheld RPGs.
