Simulation
Skybound Tycoon
★★★★☆ 4.0
Skybound Tycoon drops you in charge of a chain of sky-harbours and dares you to keep passengers happy while the books stay in the black. It starts simple and quietly turns into a juggling act of routes, staff, and upgrades.
The numbers are legible, which matters in a sim. You can always see why profits dipped, and fixing it feels earned. Later stages get demanding enough that I had to actually plan expansions rather than just plonk buildings down.
It can feel grindy around the mid-game, but the systems are solid and the satisfaction of a well-oiled operation kept pulling me back.
What we liked
- Readable, fair economy
- Deepens steadily over time
- Great payoff for careful planning
