Lantern Hollow is a slow, lovely thing. You play a lamplighter wandering a town that only wakes up after dark, solving small environmental puzzles and chatting with the odd residents who linger by the canals.

There's no fail state and no timer, which makes it perfect for winding down. The puzzles are more about noticing than about logic, and the hand-drawn art gives every screen a storybook feel.

If you want tension, look elsewhere. If you want to feel calm for an hour, this is one of the best picks on your phone.
